Practical answers, trusted contacts, and people who get it.

You are not the first person to face this.

Built with and for the spinal cord injury and wider disability community in India, and the families caring alongside them. The practical answers are here, and so are the people who truly understand.

Started by one of us

Sahaay was started by Dhairya Goyal, who lived these challenges first hand and built the resource he wished he'd had. He leads Sahaay and wants to help build the community.

Whoever you are, you belong here

Sahaay is for everyone touched by spinal cord injury and disability, not just one kind of person.

  • Living with an injury or disability
  • A family member or caregiver
  • Newly injured, finding your feet
  • A professional, volunteer or ally
Whoever you are, you belong here

Everything in one place

No more digging through endless WhatsApp groups. Answers, contacts, places and people, organised and kept trustworthy.

Members of the Sahaay community together

Not built from the outside

Sahaay comes from within the community - real questions, real contacts, and people who have actually lived this. Everything here is shared by members and kept trustworthy by people who care, not pulled from a database somewhere.

Built by the community, with the community, not from the outside.

How it works

  1. Search before you ask

Most practical questions have been asked before. Search first - the answer is often already there, written by someone who tried it.

  2. Ask the community

Nothing there? Ask. Include your injury level, how long it has been, and what you have already tried.

  3. Find people and places

Vetted contacts for repairs and supplies, honest accessibility notes, and mentors who have been where you are.

How this works

  • Free for the people it is meant to help, and it will stay that way.

  • Directory and place submissions are reviewed by a person before they go live.

  • Condition details are optional, self-reported context - never a verification step.

  • The marketplace is listings and contact details only. Any transaction happens between you and the other person.

Start where it hurts most

Whatever you are stuck on right now, someone here has been stuck on it too.
