Who can use Sahaay

You must be 18 or older to hold an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must set up and use the account on your behalf.

You are responsible for what you post and for keeping your account secure.

Sahaay is not a medical service

Sahaay is a community platform for sharing lived experience, practical information and contacts. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing on it is a substitute for a qualified doctor.

Always consult a healthcare professional before acting on anything you read here. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

The directory and marketplace

Listings of doctors, experts and vendors are shared for your convenience. A listing is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee. Verify anyone's credentials and suitability yourself before relying on them.

The marketplace is member-to-member. Sahaay does not buy, sell, verify, deliver or take payment for anything. Any arrangement is strictly between you and the other person, at your own risk.

What you may not do

Do not post anyone else's personal, medical or contact details without their consent. Do not post unlawful, misleading, hateful or harmful content, spam, or advertising aimed at patients. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent professional credentials.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules or our community guidelines.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Sahaay a licence to store and display it on the platform so it can be shown to the community.

Answers you write may remain visible, without your name, after you delete your account, so that people relying on them are not left with a gap.

Liability

Sahaay is provided on a best-effort, as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from information shared by members, from contacts you find here, or from any off-platform arrangement.

Grievances

If something here breaks these terms or the law, or you have a complaint, contact our Grievance Officer, Shaurya Goyal, at gylshaurya@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days, in line with the IT Rules, 2021.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the courts of Roorkee, India.

If any version of this page in another language differs from the English, the English version prevails.
